How do we know Jesus can provide strength in difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus promises to provide strength to those who trust in Him, as indicated in the Scriptures (Philippians 4:13).

Jesus is the source of strength for believers, especially in times of weakness and trial. In the sermon, it is highlighted that we often face burdens and difficulties that wear us down. However, Jesus invites us to look to Him to receive strength: 'Look unto me, and be strengthened.' This encouragement reassures us that when we fix our eyes on Jesus and exercise faith in Him, we receive the strength needed to endure challenges and fulfill our calling. The strength from Christ allows us to be equipped for spiritual battles and to navigate the pilgrim journey of life.
