How do we know Jesus cares for all people?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus demonstrates His compassion for all humanity, not just believers, as seen in His interactions and teachings.

The compassion of Jesus for the lost is a consistent theme throughout the Scriptures. Mark 6:34 reveals His feelings towards the crowd, stating He was 'moved with compassion' because they were like sheep without a shepherd. This compassion is not restricted to just the elect; rather, it showcases His general love for all mankind. The same Christ who is at the right hand of God continues to care deeply for the ignorant and lost, urging them towards salvation. A theology that limits Christ's concern only to believers is inadequate and overlooks His universal pity for the lost.
