How do we know Jesus cares for us during difficulties?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus shows His care by interceding for us and remaining present in our trials.

The assurance of Jesus' care for His people is evident throughout Scripture. In John 6:20, Jesus reveals His identity during a storm by asserting, 'It is I, be not afraid.' This declaration not only comforts His disciples but also serves as a reminder that He is aware of their struggles and is actively involved in their lives. Additionally, Hebrews 7:25 tells us that Jesus, as our High Priest, ever lives to make intercession for us. His care is not passive; rather, He continuously intercedes and assures us of His love and support, particularly in times of need.
