How do we know Jesus Christ is our only mediator in prayer?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible states that we have access to God only through Jesus Christ, our mediator, who enables us to pray in His name.

In John 14, Jesus instructs His disciples to ask in His name, indicating that He is the sole means through which we can approach God in prayer. He assures us that whatever we ask in His name, He will do it for us. This underscores the importance of recognizing Jesus Christ as our mediator; without Him, we have no standing before God. As believers, we are encouraged to approach God with confidence, knowing we have an audience only through His Son. This concept assures us that our prayers, when offered in the name of Christ, are heard and answered by God.
