Jesus Christ is our Redeemer because He took upon Himself our sins and brought us reconciliation with God (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).
The New Testament presents Jesus Christ as the ultimate Redeemer, fulfilling the promises made to humanity through His sacrificial death and resurrection. In 2 Corinthians 5:18-19, it is stated that God reconciled us to Himself through Christ, making Him the focal point of redemption. Christ's obedience and sacrifice provide the means by which believers are justified before God. Our salvation is entirely a result of His grace and not of our own efforts, confirming the sovereign grace perspective which holds that redemption is an accomplished fact through Christ alone.
