How do we know Jesus Christ is our Savior?

Answered in 12 sources

We know Jesus Christ is our Savior because He reconciles sinners to God through His sacrifice and His fullness provides everything required for salvation.

The assurance of Jesus Christ as our Savior comes from the scriptural testimony of His work and the nature of His sacrifice. In Colossians 1:20, it states that through the blood of His cross, Jesus made peace and reconciled all things to Himself. This reconciliation signifies that all who trust in Him are brought back into fellowship with God. Additionally, His fullness provides redemption, forgiveness, and everything needed for our salvation, as stated in Colossians 1:14. The perfect and complete work of Christ assures believers of His saving power.
