How do we know Jesus Christ is the true foundation?

Answered in 1 source

We know Jesus Christ is the true foundation because Scripture consistently portrays Him as the chief cornerstone and the only means of salvation.

Our conviction that Jesus Christ is the true foundation stems from the authoritative witness of Scripture. Verses such as Ephesians 2:19-20 and Jude 1:20 reinforce the idea that Christ is the cornerstone of our faith, around which our spiritual lives are built. Ephesians declares that we are fellow citizens, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Himself as the chief cornerstone. This divine architecture signifies that no other foundation can provide stability or salvation. We also see Christ’s unique position reinforced by His unmatchable life, death, and resurrection, which uniquely qualifies Him to be the Savior of sinners. The firm foundation laid by Christ assures us that He will finish the good work He began in us (Philippians 1:6), thus confirming His sovereign role as the architect of our faith.
