How do we know Jesus Christ is worthy to be remembered?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus Christ is worthy to be remembered because of His unique nature as the God-man and His finished work of salvation.

The worthiness of Christ stems from His unique position as the only God-man who fully satisfied the requirements for salvation. Only in Him can we find righteousness and forgiveness of sins. His sacrificial role as our mediator assures us that our guilt and sin are dealt with through His offering. The recognition of His person and work establishes His everlasting significance in the history of redemption. Therefore, every generation will honor Him, reflecting why He remains at the center of Christian worship and remembrance.
