How do we know Jesus Christ restores what Adam lost?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus Christ, through His obedience and sacrificial death, restores righteousness and eternal life that Adam lost.

Romans 5:19 states that by one man's disobedience, many were made sinners; so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. This highlights the contrast between Adam, whose sin resulted in condemnation, and Jesus Christ, whose perfect obedience provides a means of restoration. Christ's sacrificial death and resurrection not only take away the sins that Adam introduced but also impart His righteousness to believers, ensuring eternal life and reconciliation with God.
