How do we know Jesus' death brings salvation to everyone?

Answered in 1 source

The death of Jesus is sufficient for salvation, effectively saving all for whom He died, as stated in Scripture.

According to historic Reformed theology, Jesus' death on the cross was not just a possible salvation for all but a definite atonement for those whom God chose. As explained in 2 Corinthians 5:21, Jesus was made sin for us to declare the righteousness of God. This means that salvation is secured for the elect, those chosen by God before the foundation of the world, assuring that all for whom Christ died will be saved and justified freely by His grace.
