How do we know Jesus died for me?

Answered in 1 source

If you believe you are a sinner without strength and trust in Christ, you can be assured He died for you.

Assurance that Jesus died for you comes from understanding who He died for. Romans 5:6 states, 'For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.' If you see yourself among the ungodly, without spiritual strength, and you truly desire salvation in Christ, then you can take heart in the promise of His sacrifice for sinners. The scriptures posit that it’s not about being good or righteous; rather, as 1 Timothy 1:15 says, 'Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.' If you recognize your need and have placed your faith in Him, you can trust that His death was for you personally, ensuring all the blessings of salvation are yours.
