How do we know Jesus died for me specifically?

Answered in 1 source

The assurance comes from recognizing that Jesus died for His sheep, His elect, and if you are a believer, you are included.

The question of whether Jesus died specifically for an individual is answered through the Scriptures that affirm Christ's atoning sacrifice for His chosen ones. In John 10:14-15, Jesus states that He lays down His life for the sheep, indicating that not everyone is part of this group. The assurance for believers is found in understanding that if you truly recognize yourself as one of the 'ungodly' and 'sinners' for whom Christ died (Romans 5:6-8), then you can have full confidence that His atoning work is for you.
