How do we know Jesus' divinity and authority are true?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus' divinity is affirmed by His miracles, His role in fulfilling the law, and His unique relationship with the Father.

The authenticity of Jesus' divinity and authority is demonstrated through His miraculous works and teachings. In Mark 3, we see a multitude drawn to Jesus not merely for religion's sake, but for the transformative works they have heard about Him. His ability to cast out demons and heal the sick attests to His divine authority and fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies regarding the Messiah. Additionally, Jesus' unique role as the one who satisfies God's demands for perfection reinforces His divine nature. As the great High Priest who intercedes for His people, Jesus occupies the position of both God and man, thus validating His authority in both realms.
