How do we know Jesus fulfilled the burnt offering?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus fulfilled the burnt offering by being a perfect, voluntary sacrifice without blemish, fully pleasing to God.

Jesus Christ completely embodies the essence of the burnt offering as described in Leviticus. He is the male without blemish, representing perfect holiness both inwardly and outwardly. Just as the burnt offering had to be presented voluntarily, Christ willingly laid down His life, as seen in John 10:18, where He states that no one takes His life from Him, but He lays it down of His own accord. The alignment of Jesus' sacrificial act with the requirements of the Law reinforces the truth that He is the ultimate and final sacrifice. His offering was not only for our sin but was also presented before God with the intent to honor and glorify the Father, thus fulfilling the shadow of the burnt offerings.
