How do we know Jesus has power over demons?

The power of Jesus over demons is most clearly shown in His interaction with the demon-possessed man in the Gadarenes. When Jesus commands the unclean spirit to come out, the demons immediately obey, highlighting His ultimate authority over them. For instance, they even plead with Him not to send them to the abyss, recognizing His supremacy.
