How do we know Jesus has the power to save us?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus's divine nature as the Son of God assures us of His power to save.

Jesus’s power to save is affirmed by His identity as the Son of God, and as expressed in Matthew 14:31, where He immediately reached out to save Peter when he began to sink. This demonstrates His omnipotence and readiness to rescue those who cry to Him. Moreover, through His role as the eternal High Priest, He intercedes for His people, ensuring our salvation is secure. Hebrews 7:25 declares, 'Wherefore He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.' This eternal and divine nature guarantees His ability to save completely and eternally.
