How do we know Jesus heals our sins?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus heals our sins by bearing our griefs and sorrows in His own body on the cross, as noted in Isaiah and 1 Peter.

We understand that Jesus heals our sins through the biblical declaration that He bore our burdens on the cross. Isaiah 53:5 states, 'But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.' This profound truth is echoed in 1 Peter 2:24, which tells us, 'Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness.' Therefore, through His sacrifice, Jesus effectively takes on the debt of our sins, thereby offering us spiritual healing and reconciliation with God.
