How do we know Jesus hears our prayers?

Answered in 2 sources

Jesus hears our prayers, and they are not thrown into a void; He receives our requests and acts on behalf of His people.

Throughout the narrative of Lazarus, we see that Jesus receives the news of his sickness, which gives us assurance that our prayers are not in vain. When we bring our needs before Christ, He listens and engages with them. Just as the family called upon Jesus in their time of need, we too can approach Him with the confidence that He hears us. The act of Jesus responding, even if it feels delayed, underscores His sovereign grace in our lives. He chooses to act in ways that ultimately glorify God and serve our best interests, despite our limited understanding.
