How do we know Jesus' holiness is true?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus' holiness is affirmed by His divine nature and His perfect, sinless life.

The holiness of Jesus Christ is foundational to understanding who He is as both God and man. The Scriptures declare that He is 'he that is holy' (Revelation 3:7), indicating His divine nature and perfect moral purity. Jesus, being God incarnate, lived a sinless life, fulfilling all righteousness required by the law (Leviticus 22:21). Holiness is an intrinsic attribute of His character, meaning He is set apart as flawless and without sin. Furthermore, His holiness is pivotal for His role as our mediator and sacrificial Lamb. Without this perfect holiness, He could not serve as our substitute in meeting God’s just requirements for salvation, thus making His holiness not just a theological assertion but an essential truth for salvation.
