How do we know Jesus is alive?

Answered in 8 sources

We know Jesus is alive through His resurrection, which is confirmed by the testimony of Scripture and witnesses.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of Christian faith. As detailed in the Gospels, Jesus rose from the dead, and His appearance to His disciples confirmed His resurrection (Matthew 28:6). This event is not only pivotal because it provides the assurance of eternal life but also reflects on our current hope and strength in the Lord. In the sermon, the illustration of Jacob hearing that 'Joseph is yet alive' parallels our joy in knowing that Jesus is alive (Genesis 45:26). This assurance encourages believers in times of despair, reminding us that Jesus, like Joseph, is sovereignly working for our good.
