How do we know Jesus is innocent?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus' innocence is proven through the lack of evidence against Him during His trial.

The innocence of Christ is established through the multiple examinations He underwent before various courts, including the Jewish Sanhedrim and Pilate. Each time He was scrutinized, no legitimate evidence was found to condemn Him. Even Pilate, the one who ultimately sentenced Him to death, repeatedly asserted Jesus' innocence. This divine orchestration is significant for believers as it affirms that Jesus was the perfect sacrificial Lamb, without blemish, deserving neither punishment nor scorn. This undeniable proof of innocence serves as a foundation for believers' confidence that Christ’s sacrifice was indeed for sinners, fulfilling the law’s demands on their behalf.
