How do we know Jesus is Jehovah?

Answered in 1 source

We know Jesus is Jehovah because the New Testament declares His divine nature and role as Creator, confirming His eternal existence alongside the Father.

The testimony of Scripture affirms the divinity of Jesus Christ, clearly identifying Him as Jehovah. In the New Testament, passages such as John 1:3 and Hebrews 1:10-12 illustrate that by Him all things were made, signifying His active role in creation. God declares Him as God in Hebrews, stating, 'Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,' which confirms His divine identity. Furthermore, the cohesive message of the Old and New Testaments points to the fact that the attributes and roles traditionally assigned to Jehovah are fully manifested in Jesus Christ. His works, His eternal nature, and the acknowledgment of His deity provide a firm foundation for Christians to affirm that Jesus is indeed Jehovah.
