How do we know Jesus is our advocate like Mordecai?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is our advocate as He pleads for His people before God, just as Mordecai advocated for Esther and the Jews.

Mordecai serves as a representation of Christ in the Book of Esther. He advocates for Esther and the Jewish people, demonstrating loyalty and continual intercession. Similarly, Jesus, our High Priest, advocates for us before the Father, praying for our salvation and interceding on our behalf. Just as Mordecai was honored by the king and given authority, Christ is exalted and given the name above all names. His role as our advocate assures us that He continually pleads for our cause, reminding us that our justification and acceptance depend not on our works but on His perfect righteousness.
