How do we know Jesus is our builder?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is depicted as both the builder and foundation of the church, fulfilling the role of Bezalel.

Bezalel, the chief craftsman appointed by God, serves as a type of Christ in the construction of the tabernacle. Just as Bezalel was equipped to build the physical dwelling place of God, Jesus is the ultimate builder of His spiritual church. He fulfills all righteousness and has laid down His life for His people, embodying the qualities of wisdom, light, and voluntary service, as seen during His time on earth. Hebrews 3:3 tells us that Jesus, as the Son, has more honor than Moses, signifying that He is central to God’s redemptive plan and the foundation upon which the church is built.
