How do we know Jesus is our forerunner in heaven?

Hebrews 6:20 describes Jesus as our forerunner who has entered into Heaven on our behalf. This is significant, as it assures believers that the way to eternal life is not only open but also guided by Christ, who has already walked this path. In this role, Jesus serves as a scout, having gone ahead and prepared a place for us, giving us confidence that we can follow Him safely. His incarnation and ascension validate our hope of eternal life, as He navigated the trials of this world and now intercedes for us in heaven.
