How do we know Jesus is our judge and deliverer?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is our judge and deliverer because He holds ultimate authority and His justice satisfies God's requirement for sin.

Jesus Christ is affirmed as both our judge and deliverer, possessing the power and authority needed to save sinners. This is essential because God's justice requires that sin be addressed; thus, Jesus willingly took on that burden for His people. As illustrated in Romans 3:26, God can remain just while justifying the ungodly through Christ's sacrificial death. He fulfills the role of the just judge who administers divine justice while also being the one who delivers sinners from the penalty of that sin. Consequently, the only way for believers to be declared righteous is through their faith in Jesus, who paid the price for their redemption.
