How do we know Jesus is our King and Savior?

Zechariah 9:9-10 presents a prophetic declaration about the coming of the Messiah, who is both just and equipped with salvation. This prophecy was literally fulfilled when Jesus entered Jerusalem, as seen in John 12:12-15. His role as a Savior is underscored by His atoning sacrifice, which brings reconciliation and everlasting righteousness for His people, as noted in Romans 5:1, where we achieve peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, through fulfilled prophecies and redemptive work, we affirm that Jesus is indeed our sovereign King.
