How do we know Jesus is our mighty conqueror?

Jesus as our mighty conqueror is demonstrated in His victory over sin and death through the cross. Colossians 2:15 states, 'And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.' This victory means that believers are no longer bound by the power of sin or the curse of the law. The reality of His resurrection reassures us that He has overcome our greatest enemies. Because of Christ's work, believers can claim victory and live in the freedom He provides.
