How do we know Jesus is our only hope for salvation?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible assures us that Jesus alone is the source of our righteousness and redemption.

We know Jesus is our only hope for salvation through His sacrificial death and His perfect righteousness. Scripture declares in 1 Corinthians 1:30 that Christ has become for us 'wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption.' This verse underscores that all that we lack in terms of holiness and acceptable standing before God is provided through Him. The realization of our own sinfulness leads us to the cross, where our hope is anchored in His atoning blood (Ephesians 1:7). A genuine understanding of our state before a holy God draws us to acknowledge that His sacrifice is wholly sufficient for our salvation.
