How do we know Jesus is our peace?

Answered in 8 sources

Jesus is our peace because through His sacrifice on the cross, He reconciles us to God, overcoming sin and separating us from estrangement.

The assurance of Christ as our peace lies in His sacrificial work on the cross. Romans 5:1 proclaims that we are justified by faith and, as a result, have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus' death and resurrection establish the foundation for this peace, enabling us to move from hostility to harmony with God. Additionally, Ephesians 2:14 affirms that He Himself is our peace, breaking down the dividing wall of hostility between humanity and God. Therefore, our assurance of peace is firmly grounded in Christ's completed work of redemption.
