How do we know Jesus is our Savior from sin?

Answered in 1 source

We know Jesus is our Savior because He fulfills the law's demands and provides perfect satisfaction for our sins.

Jesus is affirmed as our Savior through His unique role as the one who meets the unalterable requirements of God's holy law. It highlights the necessity of perfect obedience to God’s justice, which we, as sinners, cannot provide on our own. The law requires not just outward obedience but a righteousness that only Christ, the God-man, could achieve. In His death on the cross, He rendered satisfaction to justice for those He came to save, as stated in 2 Corinthians 5:21, where our sin is imputed to Him, and His righteousness is credited to us. Thus, Jesus' work as our Savior is validated through His perfect obedience and sacrificial death.
