How do we know Jesus is our ultimate deliverer?

Jesus Christ fulfills the role of all the judges in the Old Testament as the ultimate Deliverer. Just as Ehud delivered Israel from their physical bondage, Christ delivers His people from the eternal bondage of sin. The message of Judges points us to understand that these judges, though appointed by God, were mere types of Christ.
