How do we know Jesus is present when we worship?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus promises His presence with believers gathered in His name as stated in Matthew 18:20.

The assurance of Christ's presence in worship is affirmed in His own words; in Matthew 18:20, He declares, 'For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.' This highlights that Jesus, in His fullness, is present with His people during corporate worship. It is an effectual participation where gathered believers not only proclaim His name but also are encouraged and uplifted by His very presence. This is a gracious affirmation of the strength and unity found in congregational worship.
