How do we know Jesus is represented in the tabernacle?

Answered in 1 source

The tabernacle foreshadows Christ as it embodies God's glory dwelling among His people, as seen in John 1:14.

The tabernacle served as a physical representation of God's presence and glory among the Israelites. In John 1:14, we see that 'the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us,' directly linking the tabernacle to Jesus Christ, who is the ultimate fulfillment of God's desire to be near His creation. Every aspect of the tabernacle—from the altar to the Holy of Holies—symbolizes the redemptive work of Christ. Just as only the high priest could enter the Most Holy Place, so Jesus serves as our high priest who grants us access to God through His sacrifice.
