How do we know Jesus is superior to the law?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is superior to the law as He fulfills it completely, rendering the Old Testament rituals obsolete through His one perfect sacrifice.

Hebrews articulates the belief that Jesus is not only the fulfillment of the law but is also superior to the law itself. The law, depicted as having only shadowy representations of what was to come, is now fulfilled in Christ. He provided a sacrifice sufficient to atone for sins, liberating believers from the ceremonial laws of Judaism. The writer of Hebrews argues that while the law could never take away sin, Jesus, through His sacrifice, has perfected and completed what the law pointed toward, establishing a new and better covenant for believers.
