How do we know Jesus is the fulfillment of Scripture?

Answered in 2 sources

Jesus clearly fulfills the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah, as noted by his own declarations and the apostles' teachings.

Scriptural testimony abounds in affirming that Jesus is the fulfillment of all that the prophets spoke. This is illustrated in moments such as when Jesus, after his resurrection, expounded on the Scriptures to his disciples, indicating that all the Law and the Prophets spoke of him (Luke 24:27, 44-47). Furthermore, Philip's encounter with the Ethiopian eunuch, where he began at Isaiah 53 to preach Jesus (Acts 8:35), exemplifies how the Scriptures explicitly direct us to Christ. This continuity through prophetic witness emphasizes that Jesus is indeed the promised Messiah and the crux of biblical revelation.
