How do we know Jesus is the fulfillment of the sacrificial system?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus fulfills the sacrificial system as the ultimate High Priest and perfect sacrifice, as demonstrated in the New Testament.

In the New Testament, particularly in Hebrews, we are shown how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the entire sacrificial system established in Leviticus. He is depicted as both the perfect High Priest and the ultimate sacrifice, taking His own blood into the heavenly Holy of Holies to make atonement for sin once and for all. His death, unlike that of the Levitical offerings, effectively quenches God's wrath and secures eternal redemption for those He represents. Thus, every aspect of the Old Testament sacrificial system points to Him, demonstrating its temporary nature until the arrival of the Messiah.
