How do we know Jesus is the gift of God?

Answered in 4 sources

Jesus is identified as the gift of God through His offer of living water, which provides eternal life to those who believe in Him.

In John 4:10, Jesus tells the Samaritan woman that if she knew the gift of God and who He is, she would ask Him for living water. This living water symbolizes the eternal life and spiritual nourishment that only Jesus can provide. He is the fulfillment of God's promise and blessing sent to humanity. The ability of Jesus to know our hearts and offer salvation demonstrates His divine authority and identity as the Messiah. Thus, to truly understand Jesus as the gift of God, one must recognize His role in offering gospel grace and transforming lives through faith in Him.
