How do we know Jesus is the greater prophet?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is recognized as the greater prophet because He is the only one who perfectly fulfilled God's will and never sinned.

In the sermon, Jesus identifies Himself as a greater prophet than Jonah in Luke 11:32. Jonah, despite being a chosen vessel, was a sinner who initially disobeyed God's command. Conversely, Christ is the embodiment of God's message, never faltering in His obedience. He fulfilled the role of the prophet by revealing God's truth completely, declaring that His mission was to do the will of the Father flawlessly. This perfect obedience illustrates the uniqueness of Christ as the ultimate prophet who fully accomplishes God's purpose without error, providing an infallible message of salvation to His people.
