How do we know Jesus is the greatest?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is the greatest as He exemplified true humility and obedience unto death, which God highly exalted.

The greatness of Jesus is evident in His unparalleled humility and sacrificial obedience. Despite being God incarnate, He took on the form of a servant and became obedient to the point of death on the cross (Philippians 2:5-8). This act demonstrated the drastic contrast between divine greatness and human pride. While mankind seeks to elevate themselves, Christ's humility leads to His exaltation by God, who gave Him a name above all names (Philippians 2:9). Therefore, Christ stands as the model of true greatness—serving others, laying down His life for His friends (John 15:13), and inviting believers to follow His example of servant leadership. This perfect obedience and selflessness are irrefutable evidence of His greatness.
