How do we know Jesus is the King of Glory?

Answered in 13 sources

Jesus is recognized as the King of Glory through His divine attributes and His victory in the battle against sin and death (Psalm 24:8-10).

The declaration of Jesus as the King of Glory is rooted in the biblical text, especially in Psalm 24, which poses the question, 'Who is this King of Glory? The Lord, strong and mighty; the Lord, mighty in battle.' This affirmation of His divinity and might is encapsulated in His life, death, and resurrection. Jesus, the only one with clean hands and a pure heart, overcame the ultimate battle against sin and death for His people. His ability to lead us into the presence of God sets Him apart and affirms His role as sovereign Lord and King.
