How do we know Jesus is the mediator for God's people?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is acknowledged as the mediator because the Spirit of God anointed Him to be the prophet, priest, and king as per Isaiah 61.

In Isaiah 61:1, it is evident that God anointed Jesus to fulfill the roles of prophet, priest, and king. This anointing signifies that He is uniquely qualified to act as mediator between God and man. His work as the chosen one is to reconcile sinners to God through His life, death, and resurrection. Furthermore, scripture testifies to His role, encompassing all aspects of salvation: preaching the good news, healing the wounded, and providing deliverance and comfort through His grace. His fulfillment of these roles confirms His divine authority and mediatorial work.
