How do we know Jesus is the mediator mentioned in Job?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus embodies the role of the mediator by being both divine and human, fulfilling the prophetic typology present in Job (Job 9:33).

The character of a mediator, or a daysman, as Job describes in Job 9:33, is someone who stands between two parties, capable of understanding both. Jesus fulfills this role as He is fully God and fully man. Job's longing for a mediator who could lay a hand on both God and man finds its ultimate expression in Christ, who, as the God-man, can reconcile humanity to the Father. The New Testament confirms this truth, as the sacrificial work of Christ is not only central to His role but assures our access to God through Him.
