How do we know Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is the mediator of a better covenant confirmed by His sacrificial death and the promises of spiritual blessings.

According to Hebrews 8:6, Christ has obtained a more excellent ministry than the priests of the Old Covenant, serving as the only mediator between God and man. He fulfills the role of a surety, meaning He bears the cost of the covenant on our behalf, satisfying God's justice through His sacrifice. Unlike the Old Covenant, which was limited to the nation of Israel, the New Covenant embraces all believers from every nation and is established on better promises—spiritual blessings rather than mere physical well-being.
