How do we know Jesus is the promised Savior?

Answered in 12 sources

Jesus is identified as the promised Savior through the prophetic declarations in Scripture and His fulfillment of those prophecies.

We know Jesus is the promised Savior because the Old Testament prophets, including Isaiah, spoke of His coming and characteristics. For instance, Isaiah wrote about the One who would come from Edom, who bears the marks of His redemptive work. This aligns with prophecies of His birth in Bethlehem and His lineage from David. Furthermore, Jesus’ life, ministry, and ultimately His sacrificial death confirm that He is the fulfillment of these predictions, demonstrating His divine authority and purpose.
