How do we know Jesus is the Savior we need?

Answered in 3 sources

We know Jesus is our Savior because He came to save sinners, demonstrating perfect love and fulfilling the necessity of sacrifice for our sins (Romans 5:8).

The certainty that Jesus is our Savior rests on the promise of scripture that states, 'For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son' (John 3:16). Jesus's mission was explicitly to save sinners, as declared in 1 Timothy 1:15. His death and resurrection serve as the ultimate proof of God's satisfaction with His sacrifice. Believers can trust completely that Jesus's redemptive work is sufficient for all sins, thus confirming He is the Savior we need in our spiritual condition.
