How do we know Jesus is the source of life?

Answered in 3 sources

Jesus Himself declared, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life' (John 14:6), indicating He is the essence of all life.

The nature of Christ as the source of life is rooted in Scripture, with John 14:6 encapsulating His role as the only way to the Father and as the embodiment of truth and life. This claim is further echoed in Colossians 1:16-17, which states that all things were created by Him and for Him, and in Him all things consist. This means that not only does Christ initiate life, but He also sustains it; all existence derives from Him, making Him essential for both physical and spiritual life. Without His active involvement, life, as we know it, would not exist.
