How do we know Jesus is willing and able to save us?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is both willing and able to save because He is God and man, having the authority and compassion to redeem us from our sins.

Scripture reveals that Jesus is uniquely qualified to save us as both fully God and fully man. He is able to meet our needs because He has the divine authority to forgive sins (Matthew 9:6) and the compassionate nature to respond to our cries for help. As Luke Coffey explains, our cries for help must reach the one who is both able and willing; this is found exclusively in Jesus Christ. Therefore, through His grace, He actively seeks those who recognize their need for salvation and willingly offers forgiveness and restoration to all who call upon His name (Romans 10:13).
