How do we know Jesus is with us during difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus promised His presence in our lives, especially during challenges, assuring us that He will never leave us.

The assurance of Jesus' presence is found throughout scripture. In moments of trial, such as the storm faced by His disciples in Luke 8:22-25, we are reminded that He is always in the vessel with us. Jesus has promised in Matthew 28:20, 'I am with you always, to the end of the age.' This promise applies to all believers; we are never alone in our trials. Even when He seems distant or silent, like when He appeared to be asleep in the boat, we can trust that His sovereignty encompasses our difficulties. Our challenge lies in recognizing His presence and relying on His word, which brings comfort and strength despite our circumstances.
