How do we know Jesus's sacrifice covers all our sins?

Answered in 1 source

We know because, as our substitute, He bore our sins completely, leaving no condemnation for those in Him.

The doctrine of substitutionary atonement is central to understanding how Jesus's sacrifice covers all our sins. As stated in 2 Corinthians 5:21, Christ was made to be sin for us, which means that when he died, our sins were attributed to him. Therefore, if He took our place in judgment, it follows that those for whom He died are free from any condemnation. The assurance comes from the completed work of Christ — He drank the cup of God's wrath completely dry, and according to Romans 8:1, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. His resurrection further affirms this, signifying that the debt of sin has been fully paid and accepted by God.
